Fantasy Spin: Celtics PG Kyrie Irving OUT for Friday's Game

Boston Celtics point guard Kyrie Irving will miss his second straight game due to a right quadriceps contusion. Irving, who missed Wednesday's game, is still not cleared to return and his status for the weekend is unknown.

The absence of Marcus Smart and Irving, who averages 24.9 points, five assists, 3.7 rebounds and 1.1 steals per game this season, will open the door for Terry Rozier to see extended playing time against the Atlanta Hawks tonight.

Rozier, who made his first NBA start on Saturday, made an incredible impression and became a part of NBA history in the process. In that game, the 23-year-old became the first player in nearly 40 years to post a triple double in his first NBA start. Rozier finished the game with 17 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists, two blocks and two steals in 33 minutes.

Set to face a Hawks' defense that surrenders the fifth-highest average FanDuel Points Against to point guards (43.8) per RotoWire, Rozier will be a matchup and opportunity target for everyone on Friday's slate. His low cost on FanDuel and DraftKings will make him one of the most popular plays on tonight's slate.
