Hornets G Kamba Walker to Miss Final Two Games with Knee Injury

If you are a deplorable like us at eDraft, there's no injury this late in the season that won't impact our fantasy and DFS habits. This latest news that Charlotte Hornets guard Kemba Walker will miss the final two games of the season magnifies that to a T.

While year-long fantasy seasons are over, the DFS world is still going strong with three days left in the regular season. Heck, it will extend over to the playoffs, which start this upcoming weekend.

Walker's injury is impactful here in that it takes a player that's averaging 23.2 points and 5.5 assists out of the mix for the remainder of the regular season.

The obvious takeaway here is that Nicolas Batum should see an uptick in usage, which will likely equate to a higher DFS relevance. With Walker out, Briante Weber and Brian Roberts will split time as Charlotte's two point guards over the final couple games of the season. Neither should be relied on for too much from a statistical standpoint.
