Chicago Bulls guard Dwyane Wade left Wednesday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies in the fourth quarter after suffering a sprained right elbow. He did not return in the team's latest loss.
Now, following the game, it is being reported that Wade will undergo an MRI on the injured elbow. For his part, Wade couldn't say if it would be a two day or two week injury. Obviously, the MRI will tell us more on Thursday.
Wade, 35, is averaging 18.8 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game on the season. Should he miss substantial action, look for both Denzel Valentine and Michael Carter-Williams to see a substantial uptick in minutes here.
