The Minnesota Timberwolves received some horrible news on Saturday. An MRI on Zach LaVine's injured knee revealed that he has a torn ACL and will miss the remainder of the season.
This is a tremendous blow to the Wolves' playoff hopes. They currently sit at 19-31 and are less than four games out of the eighth playoff spot out west.
LaVine, 21, was averaging 18.9 points while shooting at 39 percent from distance on the season. With him out for the remainder of the year, look for Kris Dunn and Brandon Rush to take on larger roles in Minnesota backcourt. Though, neither can be considered fantasy relevant.
