After suffering injuries to his groin in consecutive games over the weekend, Utah Jazz guard George Hill will not play Wednesday against the Sacramento Kings.
Hill has suffered through an injury-plagued, but otherwise productive first season in Salt Lake. But with his Jazz battling for a top-four seed out west, this injury could not have come at a worst time. Hill is averaging 16.9 points while shooting at a suburb 47 percent mark from the field.
With fellow guard Raul Neto also out of action in this one, look for Shelvin Mack to take on a larger role for the Jazz. Averaging 7.2 points in just over 21 minutes of action, he's an intriguing under-the-radar DFS play. That might only be magnified further should Gordon Hayward (quad) have to sit.
He's questionable for the game, and we'll have an update as soon as official word comes out of Utah there.
