Likely dealing with a hyperextended left knee after being carted off the court Friday, Chicago Bulls guard Jimmy Butler has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The team has yet to release the results of a MRI that was conducted on Butler following the game, but the report of a hyperextended knee is good news for the Bulls. The injury itself looked to be a lot more serious when it happened Friday night.
Pending the outcome of said MRI, Butler could return as early as Monday.
With him out of action against Minnesota, Tony Snell will likely get the start with E'Twuan Moore getting extended playing time.
