Both Joel Embiid (knee contusion) and Jahlil Okafor (knee soreness) missed the Philadelphia 76ers' win over the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday.
Both will also be out for Wednesday's matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks.
When it comes to Embiid, this really isn't that much of a surprise. Prior to suffering said knee injury late last week, he was not slated to make the trip to Milwaukee. Though, Okafor's absense should play a role when it comes to the DFS community.
With both players out on Tuesday, Nerlens Noel saw an uptick in minutes. He responded by putting up 19 points, eight rebounds and five assists in nearly 30 minutes of action. Look for Noel's production to remain at a somewhat similar clip against the Bucks on Wednesday.
The injuries to both Embiid and Okafor are not considered serious. Philadelphia is likely playing it cautious with both youngsters, especially a player in Embiid who missed his first two full seasons to injury.
