The Cleveland Cavaliers will be without forward Kevin Love for the next six weeks. Love will undergo a scope (minor surgery) on his troublesome left knee and is expected to miss substantial time.
Love injured his knee in Saturday's game against the Denver Nuggets and immediately had an MRI. Though, a second opinion gave him this most-recent diagnosis.
The former All-Star is averaging 20.0 points and 11.1 rebounds in what has been a rebound campaign for the Cavaliers.
With Love out of action, look for Channing Frye to see a major uptick in minutes. Though, Cleveland did clear up a roster spot by trading Chris Anderson earlier this week. Look for the team to potentially hit the free-agent market for a proven veteran big.
