Klay Thompson (Personal) Out Wednesday Against the Thunder

The Golden State Warriors will be without one of their four All-Stars when they play host to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday.

Guard Klay Thompson will sit out for the second time in just over a week, this time due to what is being described as personal reasons. We're not too sure what it happening here, but let's hope Thompson isn't dealing with something serious off the court.

On the court, this is a massive loss for the Warriors. Thompson is averaging 21.4 points while shooting at a 39 percent clip from distance on the season.

When Thompson sat out against the Miami Heat last week, Golden State was able to overcome substandard offense (by their standards) to win going away by the score of 107-95. That game saw Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry combined for 52 points, 16 rebounds and nine assists. It also saw rookie Patrick McCaw start in Thompson's stead.

While McCaw will likely draw the starting assignment Wednesday night, look for both Ian Clark and Andre Iguodala to take on larger roles. Clark scored 10 points in 22 minutes with Thompson out against the Heat. Meanwhile, Iggy added nine points, five rebounds and four assists.
