New York Knicks guard Derrick Rose has missed the team's past four games with a left ankle sprain he suffered back in late January.
Though, it now looks like New York is expected to get Rose back in time for Monday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers. At least, head coach Jeff Hornacek appears confident that Rose will return.
In the four games without their starting point guard, the Knicks boasted a 1-3 record. Though, backup guard Brandon Jennings performed at a high level with Rose out. The former lottery pick averaged 17.0 points and 8.3 assists during this span.
Considering Rose's injury history and Jennings' ability to light up the stat sheet, one could say the latter is definitely worthy of a roster spot moving forward in the fantasy basketball season.
