Michael Carter-Williams to Miss the Remainder of the Season

The Milwaukee Bucks announced on Monday that starting point guard Michael Carter-Williams will miss the remainder of the 2015-16 season after suffering a knee injury in late February.

Carter-Williams has started 37 of the 54 games he's appeared in this season, averaging 11.5 points, 5.1 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 1.5 steals per game. He's been an extremely strong under-the-radar play in DFS contests, putting up 30-plus fantasy points in 32 of his 54 appearances this season.

With Carter-Williams out and Greivis Vasquez still sidelined due to an ankle injury, Jerryd Bayless will likely continue to see substantial action running the point. Bayless is averaging 11.8 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.8 assists in the four games Carter-Williams has missed.

O.J. Mayo will likely see more action in the backcourt. He's been nowhere near a DFS option, averaging just 9.3 fantasy points over the past six games.
