Nikola Jokic Denver Nuggets
Jokic headed into the season with an ADP that had him as the 10th power forward off the board. He's since been moved to the center position in a majority of the fantasy leagues out there, and has not disappointed. Despite recent injury issues, the second-year big heads into the unofficial second half of the season as the ninth-best fantasy center.
He's averaging 16.3 points, 8.9 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game while shooting at a splendid 58 percent from the field. This has him ranked in the top 15 in all these areas. It also has Jokic ranked in the top 12 in fantasy consistency. Not too shabby for a former second-round pick.
Rudy Gobert, Utah Jazz
Gobert has not necessarily taken that next step from a scoring standpoint, but he's definitely outperformed his preseason ADP. On average, Gobert was the ninth center off the board. He enters the second half of the season as the sixth-best fantasy player at his position.
All said, the Stifle Tower is averaging 12.9 points and 12.6 rebounds to go with an NBA-best 2.5 blocks per game. He's also shooting at a fabulous 64 percent from the field. Not too bad at all.
Marc Gasol, Memphis Grizzlies
Gaso is having somewhat of a renascence of sorts in his ninth NBA season. The All-Star is averaging a career-high 20.6 points to go with 6.2 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game. And while his rebound numbers are not up to snuff with previous seasons, Gasol has been tremendous on the offensive end of the court.
He's shooting 47 percent from the field and has actually expanded his range to outside the three-point line, shooting at a 39 percent clip from distance.
This has Gasol, who was the 10th center off the board in terms of preseason ADP, as the fourth-best fantasy player at his position. He also ranks third behind Karl-Anthony Towns and DeMarcus Cousins in terms of fantasy consistency from the center position.
