Wednesday, November 5th has a full slate of games on the NBA schedule as there are 12 games set to tip off. A busy night like this in the association can make it more difficult to put together a winning combination of players as there are just so many more variables in play. This might be a good night to play a 50/50 league where you need to only beat half the teams to get paid out. You aren’t going to win as much; however, your chances are exponentially better.

Point = 1pt, Rebound = 1.2pts, Assist = 1.5pts, Block = 2pts, Steal = 2pts, Turnover = -1pt
Alright let’s get right into it. To submit a valid roster for competition one must add nine players by using a salary cap of $60,000.
VALUE BUYS BY POSITION
Brandon Knight $7,500 Point Guard
Knight has represented a value play almost every night as he has consistently overachieved on his buy price. He continues to get very little fantasy love as he is the 11th ranked point guard going into this evening matchup with the Chicago Bulls. Granted this is a tough matchup and the Bucks are likely going to lose the game, but Knight matched up very well against John Wall a couple nights ago and still posted a very solid stat line. Excellent value for a top-tier fantasy guard.
Jimmy Butler $6,000 Shooting Guard
Are you kidding me with this price for Butler? Superb value here for the Chicago Bulls two-guard as he is averaging 24 ppg, 2 apg and 4 rpg since his return from injury. Butler is getting his shots attempts per game and he is being assertive in the offence despite the multitude of offensive options. At a price that is below the average salary per position that is allotted, Butler represents a must play here.
Chris Copeland $5,100 Small Forward
Copeland is one of the most reliable bench players in the league, never mind the fact that he is the best fantasy option on the Indiana Pacers. Huge value here for Copeland as a very well priced small forward. Pick up Copeland without sacrificing stats and use the cash savings to grab a top shelf small forward like Rudy Gay or perhaps a slumping LeBron James.
Markieff Morris $6,300 Power Forward
Morris is carving out a nice existence despite the heavy backcourt reliance in Phoenix. Season averages of 16.2 ppg, 7.4 rpg and 2.6 apg aren’t hurting either of course. Good value here at the power forward spot as his fantasy production is better than the more expensive Thaddeus Young and that of Paul Millsap who comes in priced at $8,300. Again one can pick up a very good player here and save the salary cap dollars to go big on another player somewhere else.
Nikola Vucevic $8,600 Center
Vucevic is on-fire this season. Statistically he is the second best fantasy option out there behind only Chris Bosh; however, he is the fourth highest priced center out there. Factor in that Vucevic’s Magic roll into Philadelphia to take on the woeful 76ers. Very beneficial matchup for Nikola and he should produce more than his already impressive 17.7 ppg and 15.7 rpg.
