The NBA season is just a few days away from tipping off and for those who are just chomping at the bit to get into the fantasy games; FanDuel has been good enough to post their opening night prices. The die-hards have already had a couple sleeps to digest the info and calculate their lineups. Stay tuned for eDraft’s opening night FanDuel lineup as it will be posted for Premium Subscribers the night before tipoff. For now; however, let’s delve into some of the bargains out there for opening night.

Dennis Schroder is as solid of a PG2 option as they come. He is a consistent player who gives solid points and assist numbers nightly. Schroder is fresh off an impressive European Championship that saw him play exceptionally well for his home country Germany. The price here tonight is really on the low side for a player of Schroder’s caliber and production and there is no question that as the season progresses this price tag will climb.

Eric Gordon is definitely going to see an increased role for this New Orleans Pelicans team to start the season off. With Tyreke Evans down due to injury and with Jrue Holiday playing with a minutes restriction; look for Gordon to shoulder a heavy workload in terms of minutes and offensive responsibilities. The price point here is right around where Gordon left last season off; however, he will provide far more fantasy value to start this season than he did last year.

Nikola Mirotic has pushed his way into the Chicago Bulls starting rotation and although he is available on FanDuel as a small forward he will be playing more of the stretch-four role on the court. This move is great news for fans of the versatile forward as he can bring excellent scoring and decent rebounding stats to the table. For Mirotic to open the season this low in terms of price, there is really nowhere to go but up and it shouldn’t take long for his popularity to drive the price closer to $7000.

Timofey Mozgov will likely see an increased role for the Cleveland Cavaliers come opening night as the newly signed Tristan Thompson likely won’t see much, or if any, playing time. Mozgov has historically been a solid producer as he is fairly consistent in terms of rebounds and points in the paint. It is very reasonable to think that Mozgov goes for a double-double tonight and that kind of production would make this a solid bargain play.
