With the NBA Finals winding to a close, the NBA offseason is about to come in full swing. With free agency and the draft approaching there are plenty of rumors developing around the league. While a majority of these rumors are relatively inaccurate or false, there are some that could have some merit. The biggest struggle is trying to decide which of these rumors have any strand of truth to them. With all these rumors flying about its time to which out which rumors could have some truth behind them.
Kevin Love
Love is one of the biggest names on the trade block and he is also the center of many rumors. There have been all sorts of rumors surrounding Love, including possible destinations and assets that would be given up to get Love. One of the most recent rumors is that the Suns would be willing to give up either Goran Dragic or Eric Bledsoe, plus their plethora of draft picks. Both these players would have a lot to offer a team and their absence on the Suns, regardless of Kevin Love, could hurt the team.
Trading of Lottery Picks
This year's draft class is one of the best in years. Because of this it has drastically increased the value of lottery picks for this year. Reports are that many lottery teams could be willing to trade their picks for the right offer. The Bulls are rumored to be looking to move up in the draft to snag one of this year's top prospects. The Kings are another team who has been very open about trading their pick. The Kings are looking for a player who can contribute right away, not a rookie who needs to develop. Many other teams could be looking to either move up or move into the first round.
76ers Looking to Move Up
After the Cleveland Cavaliers miraculously landed the first overall pick in this year's draft, it immediately inspired plenty of rumors. The two teams with the worst overall records, Philadelphia 76ers and Milwaukee Bucks, and the second and third picks, could both look to move up in the draft. However, there have been some very prominent rumors that the 76ers would like to trade up to the first overall pick to draft Andrew Wiggins.
Roy Hibbert
After a miserable second half of the season and relatively disappointing playoffs, Roy Hibbert received plenty of criticism. Immediately following the playoffs multiple rumors swirled that Hibbert wanted out of Indiana and Indiana wanted to be done with him. However, there have yet to be any formal trade demands and it would seem that Indiana's or Hibbert's wants have changed. Another factor could be Hibbert's enormous contract and his relatively poor performances.
