Brooklyn Nets guard Jarrett Jack suffered a torn ACL and a torn right meniscus against the Boston Celtics on Saturday and will miss the remainder of the season.
It's a horrific injury for the veteran guard and could end up leading to the end of his career.
Jack, a first-round pick of the Denver Nuggets back in 2005, was immediately traded to the Portland Trail Blazers where he starred for three seasons before being given a journeyman label over the next several years.
Though, he's been a tremendous presence on each of the past three teams he's been on since the 2011 season.
This year alone, Jack was averaging 12.8 points and a career high 7.4 assists per game for Brooklyn.
With Jack out, Shane Larkin should be pushed into a starter role for the Nets.
