Amid rumors and speculation that he might be moved before the trade deadline, Denver Nuggets guard Emmanuel Mudiay will miss his sixth consecutive game with a back injury. 

There was some hope that Mudiay would be able to return to the lineup before the All-Star Break, but that's just not going to be the case. 

The second-year guard is averaging 11.8 points, 3.5 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game. Expect veteran Jameer Nelson to continue benefiting from Mudiay's absense. Nelson is averaging 17.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 9.0 assists over the past three games.
