Detroit Pistons guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope suffered a shoulder injury early in Thursday's loss to the Golden State Warriors and didn't return.
The injury itself was so bad that Caldwell-Pope was immediately taken to the trainer's room. There's no word on his condition, but it wouldn't be a surprise if further tests showed he suffered a separated shoulder.
KCP is having a relatively strong third season in the NBA, averaging 14.9 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists while shooting at a 40 percent clip from distance.
With Caldwell-Pope out of the lineup for the majority of Thursday's 20-point loss to Golden State, Darrun Hilliard saw most of the minutes at the two. He scored just six points in 26 minutes.
If KCP did indeed suffer some type of separation of dislocation, he's more than likely going to miss some time.
