Report: Thunder Shopping PF Serge Ibaka

Just weeks after narrowly missing an opportunity to be in the NBA Finals, it appears the Oklahoma City Thunder are considering some change to their roster. ESPN's Marc J. Spears has reported that in the hours leading up to the 2016 NBA Draft, Oklahoma City are shopping Serge Ibaka around the league

Ibaka will enter the final year of his contract next season at $12.25 million, before he becomes an unrestricted free agent when the salary cap will surpass $100 million. He averaged 12.6 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game this season and did not receive a vote for NBA Defensive Player of the Year. Ibaka's shine as a young power forward on the rise has worn off, but his ability to defend the rim should still attract attention.

There is no question teams will be calling Oklahoma City to find out what they want for Ibaka, but if they are targeting a top-12 pick, they may not find a mathc. Ibaka only has one year left and is a one-tool player, which isn't enough of a difference maker for most young teams. While Oklahoma City may continue to shop around Ibaka, it seems unlikely that Ibaka is moved.
