The Sacramento Kings will be without rookie big man Willie Cauley-Stein for at least the next month after he suffered a dislocated right index finger against the Boston Celtics on Thursday.
Despite struggling from an offensive standpoint this season (4.6 points per game), the Kentucky product has started 14 of Sacramento's 20 games and played an important role on defense prior to the injury. In fact, he's averaging 5.2 rebounds and 1.1 blocks in less than 20 minutes pe game.
It's also possible that the rookie could elect for surgery, which could keep him out for longer.
With Cauley-Stein out of action, Kosta Koufos will see an uptick in minutes.
From a fantasy perspective, this makes Koufos a decent under-the-radar play in DFS contests while likely increasing the value of big's going up against the Kings.
