2013 St. Louis Rams Mock Draft

Continuing with the NFC West, eDraft will take a look at where the St. Louis Rams will go in April's annual NFL Draft. Remember, the Rams have an additional second-round pick by virtue of the Robert Griffin III trade.

1. Chance Warmack, Guard, Alabama

St. Louis needs multiple upgrades along the offensive line. From my estimation, it could use a right guard and left tackle. Why not go out there and get the consensus No. 1 overall interior lineman with your first pick if you are the Rams. Warmack can come in and immediately be an above-average starting guard as a rookie from day one.

Coming from a pro-style blocking scheme at Alabama, Warmack will be able to be as good in pass protection as he is in run blocking early on. This is something St. Louis desperately needs for Sam Bradford

1. Johnathan Hankins, Defensive Tackle, Ohio State

I have officially bought into Michael Brockers, who had a solid rookie season for St. Louis. The talented youngster will need a running partner moving forward. Hankins has the build to stand up against the run and play a vital role in what is quickly becoming a solid Rams' defensive line with Brockers, Robert Quinn and Chris Long

2. Robert Woods, Wide Receiver, Southern California

I am nowhere near as sold on Woods as a solid first-round option. He seems to have trouble getting separation at the line and isn't much more than a solid possession receiver. That being said, this is exactly what the Rams need with Danny Amendola set to hit free agency. Chris Givens gives Bradford that deep threat as well.

3. Ricky Wagner, Offensive Tackle, Wisconsin

While Rodger Saffold is definitely a decent offensive tackle and should mold into a solid performer the likes of Wayne Hunter and Barry Richardson are not going to get it done at right tackle in protection of Bradford. Needless to say, St. Louis needs an upgrade here. Wagner was considered a first-round talent prior to struggling a bit in 2012. He offers the Rams solid value at a need position.

4. Robert Lester, Safety, Oklahoma

Lester might have struggled during Senior Bowl week, but he performed extremely well on the back end for Oklahoma in college. The lanky safety has plus coverage skills and isn't afraid to put his nose in their between the hashes. St. Louis could use depth and more talent at both safety positions. Lester would start out as a rover strong/free safety.

5. Zac Dysert, Quarterback, Miami (O)

Before struggling with ball placement and accuracy in Mobile, Dysert was definitely catching the attention of scouts around the NFL. The small-school product can make every throw on the football field and possesses a solid ability to hit receivers in stride. It will be interesting to see how he performs at the combine in Indianapolis. At the very least, Dysert could be a solid backup option in St. Louis.

6. Zach Line, Fullback, Southern Methodist

Why not get a bruiser in there? St. Louis went against the grain and didn't utilize a fullback for the majority of the 2012 season. An addition like this could make its inside running game much better.

7. Brandon Sharpe, Defensive End, Syracuse

The Rams don't have much in terms of depth at defensive end after Long and Quinn. While Sharpe has been extremely inconsistent, he represents as much upside as you can get in a late-round pick.
