The Saints have traded with the Arizona Cardinals for the 20th pick in the first round. The Saints sent their own first-round pick (27) and their own third-round pick (91) for pick 20. The Saints ultimately ended up spending that pick on speed wide receiver Brandin Cooks out of Oregon State.

Cooks will help replace the explosiviness that the Saints lost when Darren Sproles was traded to the Eagles. Cooks will be an explosive player for Drew Brees to get the ball too. Cooks can play on the outside or he can play in the slot. Cooks reminds me of DeSean Jackson in his ability to catch the ball and get up field. If Cooks gets in open space, he will not be caught.
