Adrian Peterson Downgraded to Questionable for Sunday's Game

Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson entered the weekend probable for the team's game against the Detroit Lions with a finger injury. He's now been downgraded to questionable with an unnamed illness.

It's unlikely that Peterson would miss the game due to an illness, but we don't necessarily have a gauge of just how bad it is at this point. Even if he does play, there's a chance he will be limited by said injury.

Though, if Peterson is active Sunday afternoon, he becomes a top-end RB1 option against a Lions defense that is yielding the eighth-most fantasy points to running backs on the season.

In his first matchup against the Lions back in Week 2, Peterson went for 192 total yards.
