Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy had shown flashes of returning to old form over the past several weeks after struggling with a hamstring injury earlier in the year.
That took an entirely new step Monday night in the Bills' narrow loss to the New England Patriots.
McCoy went for 82 yards on 20 attempts while adding six catches for 41 yards.
In addition to Monday's performance, McCoy has tallied 599 total yards and three touchdowns over the course of the past five games.
This has him as the surprising 11th-best fantasy running back after 11 weeks.
What makes McCoy such a stellar option moving forward is his ability in the passing game with Tyrod Taylor under center. Including the 10 targets McCoy received on Monday, the former All Pro has been targeted 36 times in eight games.
