The "blah" 2013 NFL Draft is finally over. Nothing against this year's prospects, but I think we can all agree we were all ready for this draft to get over so we could talk about Clowney & Co. What better way to do so then to actually mention who's in the discussion along with Clowney? Well, eDraft did just that. We've listed the Top-10 draft eligible prospects in the 2014 NFL Draft.
1) Jadeveon Clowney, Defensive End, South Carolina -- The perfect prospect. Clowney is nearly a perfect 10 on any and every chart you'll find for scouting prospects. He'll most likely be the No. 1 overall pick in next year's draft.
2) C.J. Mosley, Linebacker, Alabama -- When isn't there an Alabama prospect at or near the top of the draft? What's become an annual first-round pick factory yet again pumps out top talent with the best linebacker in the class in Mosley, a Brian Urlacher type linebacker who's great in coverage and extremely instinctive.
3) Marqise Lee, Wide Receiver, USC -- Lee is a special talent. He's one of the most complete receivers in college football, and may have been the first receiver taken in the 2013 draft had he been eligible to declare.
4) Jake Matthews, Offensive Tackle, Texas A&M -- If you're a high school lineman who wants to be a future Top-5 draft pick in the NFL, you should probably attend Texas A&M. Matthews is already better than Jaguars' second overall pick Luke Joeckel.
5) Teddy Bridgewater, Quarterback, Louisville -- Bridgewater is an elite quarterback talent who will spearhead a deep quarterback class in 2014. He's expected to bring Louisville back into BCS Bowl competition in 2013.
6) Taylor Lewan, Offensive Tackle, Michigan -- While I'm not as high on Lewan as other analysts are, he's still one of the premiere offensive tackle prospects in next year's class. He would've likely been seleted ahead of the Eagles' Lane Johnson had he declared this year, but now will compete with Matthews to be the top tackle selected in 2014.
7) Sammy Watkins, Wide Receiver, Clemson -- Some would argue that Watkins was the better of the two receivers at Clemson that included the Texans' DeAndre Hopkins. Watkins will have the opportunity in 2013 to prove that notion to be true.
8) David Fales, Quarterback, San Jose State -- Fales is a quarterback from a non-BCS school that is going to turn some heads in 2014. He's more of a boom-or-bust first-round prospect, but I have a ton of confidence he'll be there on day one next April as a top pick.
9) Adrian Hubbard, Linebacker, Alabama -- The Tide keep rolling. Hubbard joins Mosley as just another member of the annual Crimson Tide Takeover at Radio City Music Hall each April. Hubbard may end up being the best out of the three potentional first-round 'Bama backers by this time next year.
10) Cyrus Kouandijio, Offensive Tackle, Alabama -- What? another Alabama player in the Top-10?! No, I am not an Alabama fan, but yes, they are that stacked. After Alabama wins another National Title, Kouandijio will join Chance Warmack and DJ Fluker as Crimson Tide lineman selected in the first round.
