This could be some pretty big news for the Cincinnati Bengals moving forward. Quarterback Andy Dalton exited in the first half of the team's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers with thumb injury on his throwing hand:
It remains to be seen exactly what the extent of the injury is, but Dalton was ruled out for the game almost immediately after suffering the injury.
He was later seen with a hard cast on his right hand, which is obviously not a good sign for the Bengals.
As pretty much a lock to win the AFC North, the bigger issue here is when Dalton will be able to return to action. With him sidelined, A.J. McCarron has taken over under center.
As with all injuries from Sunday's action, we will update you when more information becomes available.
