Bears WR Cameron Meredith Suffers Torn ACL

It has not been a good week for receivers around the NFL. On the heels of Patriots pass catcher Julian Edelman tearing an ACL, comes this report from the Windy City.

Star Bears receiver Cameron Meredith suffered a gruesome looking injury in the first half of the team's game against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. It was later reported that Meredith did in fact also suffer a ton ACL. He'll miss the entire regular season.

Meredith, 24, came on strong as a sophomore last season, recording 66 receptions for 888 yards and four touchdowns. That was good enough for him to finish as a mid-tier FLEX option. Though, the youngster had looked even better in camp and during the presason. Many had him pegged as a WR2 option.

With Meredith out, the Bears will have to rely on the likes of Kevin White and Victor Cruz. That's a fantasy black hole in a big way.

Expect Jordan Howard to see an uptick in production after he dazzled from the running back position as a rookie last season.
