Ben Roethlisberger Practices for First Time Since Injury

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was a surprise participant in practice on Wednesday. Sharing first-team reps with Landry Jones, the franchise quarterback took the field for the first time since injuring his knee Week 3 against the St. Louis Rams.

For his part, Big Ben indicated that he thought the practice went "okay."

There's no telling whether this is an indication Roethlisberger will be able to go Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs. The first step to returning was testing out the knee in practice — something Big Ben did with a brace on Wednesday. Knowing the veteran the way we do, he will do everything in his power to get on the field against the Kansas City Chiefs.

If Roethlisberger is able to go, the entire dynamic of the game changes.

From a fantasy standpoint, Antonio Brown becomes a must start after putting up just 11 receptions in the three games Big Ben was sidelined. Le'Veon Bell also becomes a potential PPR stud with a quarterback that knows how to get him the ball out of the backfield.

Meanwhile, Martavis Bryant would find himself as a legit under-the-radar WR2 option against a Chiefs defense that ranks dead last in the NFL against fantasy receivers.
