Best and Worst Fantasy Quarterbacks Entering Week 4

Entering the fourth Sunday of the 2013 season, we have an idea of which players have been consistently good and which players will continue to perform up to level in the coming weeks.

There have been some surprises here and there, but those who have struggled should rebound and prove their worth to fantasy owners. With that said, here are eDraft's best and worst quarterbacks through three weeks.

Quarterbacks
Rank Player Team Passing Yds Rushing Yds TD INT
1 Peyton Manning Broncos 1,143 -7 12 0
2 Michael Vick Eagles 832 187 7 2
3 Aaron Rodgers Packers 1,057 34 8 3
4 Drew Brees Saints 1,021 23 7 4
5 Philip Rivers Chargers 798 29 8 1

There are a couple surprises here. Most of us believed Michael Vick would be a decent QB1 option in Chip Kelly's fast-paced offense, but none of us expected him to be ranked second overall through three weeks. One of the things that Vick has improved on is turnovers. He has thrown just two interceptions in 91 pass attempts (one per 45.5) compared to one per 35.5 last season.

Peyton Manning's record start promises to continue when he takes on Vick and the Philadelphia Eagles today. He's the No. 1 overall fantasy quarterback by nearly 16 points, which is pretty damn ridiculous.

Drew Brees continues to throw interceptions, but his fantasy value is still high because of the New Orleans Saints pass-first offense. That's also not going to change anytime soon.

Brees' former teammate Philip Rivers, has been beyond impressive thus far this season. He's thrown only one interception in 100 pass attempts and has eight touchdowns in three games. If Rivers continues at this pace, he's going to be an absolute steal for those who selected him in the later rounds.

There are some disappointing fantasy quarterbacks through three weeks. Let's take a gander at them.

Colin Kaepernick, San Francisco 49ers: 12th in fantasy points (four games played), five total touchdowns and seven turnovers.

Russell Wilson, Seattle Seahawks: 19th in fantasy points, six total touchdowns and four turnovers.

Robert Griffin III, Washington Redskins: 11th in fantasy points, five total touchdowns and five turnovers.

Tom Brady, New England Patriots: 25th in fantasy points, five total touchdowns and three interceptions.
