Best Fantasy Football Performances from Week 10

Aaron Rodgers, Quarterback, Green Bay Packers

In a fantastic Week 10 fantasy football performance, Rodgers awarded his owners with six amazing touchdowns and 315 passing yards. This was Rodgers’ best performance all season and fantasy owners were rewarded generously with 36.60 fantasy points at the end of the evening.

Due to the massive lead the Packers had over the Chicago Bears, Rodgers was pulled after throwing only three passes right after halftime. One can only imagine the further damage Rodgers would have done had he played through his entire Week 10 game.

Peyton Manning, Quarterback, Denver Broncos

Manning, who rarely has an off game put up his second-best fantasy football performance of the season in Week 10. Throwing five touchdowns coupled up with 340 passing yards had Manning earning his fantasy owners a sweet 29.6 fantasy points in Week 10. By the end of the third quarter, the Broncos had a secure 31-point lead, so Manning spent the remainder of the game watching from the sidelines. Had he remained in the game through the end, another touchdown or two certainly could have been expected.

Marshawn Lynch, Running Back, Seattle Seahawks

In absolute true “Beastmode” form was Lynch as he thrashed the New York Giants’ secondary for four rushing touchdown scores in Week 10. In his best 2014 performance yet, Lynch generously awarded his fantasy owners 41.30 fantasy points.  Lynch has been on a roll the last two weeks with his best performances of the season, so hopefully the trend will continue in Week 11 when he faces Kansas City.

C.J. Anderson, Running Back, Denver Broncos

Who? If you had the notion or desperation to start Anderson in Week 10, boy did he pay off. Sporting the second-best running back fantasy football performance had Anderson rewarding 26.30 fantasy points in Week 10. Filling in for an injured Ronnie Hillman, Anderson had a 163 total rushing and receiving yards and a receiving touchdown which boosted him to this fantasy total.

The fantasy highlight of Anderson’s day was a catch then a 51-yard touchdown run. With Montee Ball likely returning to the mix in Week 11 another monster performance like this from Anderson would be surprising.

Dez Bryant, Wide Receiver, Dallas Cowboys

Bryant certainly did not disappoint his fantasy owners in Week 11 with his best fantasy performance of the season. Catching six of his eight targets racking up 158 yards through the air with two awesome touchdowns had Bryant rewarding 33.80 fantasy points in Week 11. No match for the Jacksonville Jaguars’ defense, Bryant outran multiple defenders on both of his touchdowns giving fantasy owners something to remember while the Dallas Cowboys enter into their bye in Week 11.

Jordy Nelson, Wide Receiver, Green Bay Packers

In Week 10, Nelson rewarded his fantasy owners with a flawless, two-touchdown performance totaling 33.2 fantasy points. Catching a perfect six of six targets for a total of 152 receiving yards along with his two beautiful touchdown scores had fantasy owners elated in Sunday’s giant win over the Chicago Bears.  Week 11 brings Nelson and the Packers a meeting with the Philadelphia Eagles where hopefully Nelson’s hot streak will continue.

Jordan Matthews, Wide Receiver Philadelphia Eagles

If fantasy owners of Matthews took a chance with their rookie in his Monday Night Football matchup against the Panthers, their gamble paid off. Matthews had his best NFL performance ever in Week 10 and was clearly quarterback Mark Sanchez’s favorite target. Managing seven catches on nine targets for 138 receiving yards was Matthews’ highest yardage this season. Add in a couple of touchdowns to the sauce and Matthews brings 32.8 fantasy points to the table in Week 10. With Sanchez under center, Matthews should continue to thrive.

Jimmy Graham, Tight End, New Orleans Saints

Graham righteously earned his No. 1 spot among tight ends in Week 10 with his second-best performance of the season. Targeted 13 times by quarterback Drew Brees had Graham catching 10 or his 13 attempted passes for a total of 76 yards along with two incredible touchdowns.

In what would have even been more than the 29.6 fantasy points Graham awarded was a third touchdown in the last minutes of overtime. However due to Graham’s own pass interference, the touchdown was recalled. We’ll look for more awesomeness from Graham in Week 11 when the Saints host the Bengals.
