Best Fantasy Football Performances from Week 15

Drew Brees, Quarterback, New Orleans Saints

In one of his best performances of the season, Brees outscored all his fellow quarterbacks in Week 15. Fantasy owners of Brees were not disappointed at all as he took advantage of a porous Bears’ pass attack, scorching them for 375 yards and three passing touchdowns. Even though Brees took a couple of sacks, he played without an interception which rewarded 27.20 fantasy points at the end of Monday night’s game. We’ll look for Brees to put up elite numbers once again as the team plays at home against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 16.

Eli Manning, Quarterback, New York Giants

Manning had a fabulous fantasy performance in Week 15 completing 23 of 34 passes. Also staying clean, and throwing three touchdowns along with 250 passing yards, had Manning earning 22.0 fantasy points. Surprisingly, Manning was far superior to some of our elite quarterbacks such as Aaron Rodgers and Andrew Luck in Week 15. Manning certainly made a bargain at quarterback for those who started him in daily leagues along with taking a chance on him in regular fantasy lineups. Next week will have the Manning and the Giants facing a tougher opponent in the St. Louis Rams.

Odell Beckham Jr., Wide Receiver, New York Giants

Someone certainly had to be the recipient of Manning’s three touchdowns, and that was Beckham for those who were graced with his presence on their fantasy football teams in Week 15. Lighting things up once again had the Giants’ rookie receiver outplaying all of his fellow wide receivers and scoring a whopping 30.30 fantasy points having his best fantasy outing for the season. Beckham caught 12 of his 15 targets and piled up 143 yards through the air to go along with his big three touchdown catches. Nearly unstoppable, we’ll see what Beckham has to offer against the Rams’ fifth-ranked defense next week.

Dez Bryant, Wide Receiver, Dallas Cowboys

Bryant ended his quiet streak and delighted his fantasy owners in Week 15 with his best game of the season. Scoring three incredible touchdowns, Bryant was no match for a weak Philadelphia secondary. Nearly perfect, Bryant caught six of seven targets and put up 114 receiving yards. Fantasy owners were rewarded a whopping 29.40 fantasy points, which certainly had to help advance you into playoffs. Bryant and the Cowboys welcome the Indianapolis Colts in Week 16.

Demaryius Thomas, Wide Receiver, Denver Broncos

Thomas finally snapped out of the funk he was in last week and put up 123 receiving yards and a touchdown in a win over the San Diego Chargers in Week 15. While it wasn’t Thomas’ best performance of the season, it certainly ranked high enough to register him as one of the top wide receivers versus others that struggled terribly in Week 15. The 18.30 fantasy points Thomas rewarded just may have been what owners need this week to advance further into their playoffs.

Jeremy Hill, Running Back, Cincinnati Bengals

When news broke this week of the Cincinnati Bengals deciding to start Hill as the team’s main workhorse, versus splitting the carries nearly 50/50 with fellow back, Giovani Bernard, that should have been the greenlight to get Hill into fantasy lineups everywhere. Hill was a dominating force out on the field against a Cleveland Browns’ defense who couldn’t do anything to stop him. Running for 148 yards and scoring two rushing touchdowns had Hill delighting his fantasy owners, rewarding 27.20 fantasy points in Week 15. Hill and the team host the Denver Broncos in Week 16.

Le’Veon Bell, Running Back, Pittsburgh Steelers

Bell has been a permanent feature the past several weeks in this article, and deservingly so. Week 15 had Bell rushing for 47 yards and playing a major role as a receiver too tallying up 72 yards through the air. Making the most of his ground yards, Bell reigned in two rushing scores making him once again a solid RB1 who rewarded 23.90 fantasy points to his owners. Bell accomplished what many projected and completely took advantage of a very generous Falcons’ rush attack, which also made him a fantastic play in daily leagues also in Week 15. No matter who he’s playing, Bell is a must-start as fantasy football playoffs continue next week.

Knile Davis, Running Back, Kansas City Chiefs

For whoever had a hunch to play Davis in Week 15, you played your cards well. Davis completely robbed all the fantasy points away from staring running back Jamaal Charles, leaving all Charles’ owners out in the cold. Davis scored both rushing and a receiving touchdowns and while he wasn’t much of a factor as far as putting up a bunch of ground yards, he managed 70 receiving yards which ultimately led to him rewarding 20.10 fantasy points in Week 15. Week 16 has the Chiefs playing in Pittsburgh, where we really don’t know how much of a role he’ll play alongside Charles.

Rob Gronkowski, Tight End, New England Patriots

The Patriots’ beastly tight end definitely didn’t disappoint his owners as he topped the charts with the best performance among his fellow tight ends in Week 15. Making the most of the three catches he had, Gronkowski managed 96 receiving yards and scored one touchdown, earning his fantasy owners 15.60 points. These 96 yards once again put Gronkowski over the 1,000 yard receiving mark for a season, making fantasy owners who trusted drafting him extremely pleased. Gronk and the crew head to MetLife to play the New York Jets where hopefully he’ll continue his hot streak, helping his fantasy owners to victory along the way.
