Biggest Fantasy Quarterback Duds from Week 3

There comes a time where every single football player struggles throughout the course of a season. Heck, even Peyton Manning will have his bad games within the final 14 weeks of the season.

For some, struggles through the first three weeks represent more of a trend than anything else. For others, we can expect them to rebound.

Let's take a look at three fantasy quarterbacks who struggled the most in Week 3.

Robert Griffin III, Quarterback, Washington Redskins

Statistics: 326 passing yards, 37 rushing yards, zero touchdowns, one interception, one fumble (12.74 fantasy point)

For the third consecutive week, RGIII has struggled to maintain any fantasy football value. While the second-year quarterback did put up over 350 yards in Washington's loss to the Detroit Lions on Sunday, he turned the ball over twice and didn't account for a single touchdown. The former No. 2 overall pick ranked 23rd among quarterbacks in Week 3 and is a bottom-tier QB1 option at this point in the season.

Aaron Rodgers, Quarterback, Green Bay Packers

Statistics: 244 passing yards, 24 rushing yards, one touchdown and two interceptions (12.16 fantasy points)

Week 3 represented the first time since December of 2010 that Rodgers threw more interceptions than touchdowns in a single game. In doing so, the MVP candidate threw two interceptions in Green Bay's heart-breaking loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. Heck, Rodgers ranked behind Tarvaris Jackson in fantasy points and finished as a bottom-tier QB2 option.

Colin Kaepernick, Quarterback, San Francisco 49ers

Statistics: 150 passing yards, 20 rushing yards, zero touchdowns, one interception, one fumble (4.0 fantasy points)

This isn't good. After putting up over 30 fantasy points against the Packers in Week 1, Kaepernick has tallied single-digit points over the past two weeks combined. During that span, he has accounted for zero touchdowns and six turnovers. That's simply not what many of us expected heading into the season. Overall, Kaepernick is the 26th-ranked fantasy quarterback through three weeks. It's now up to San Francisco's skill-position players to help lift the third-year quarterback up.
