Buccaneers WR Vincent Jackson Out Thursday with Sprained MCL

It's possible that Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Vincent Jackson has played his last game of the season after suffering a sprained MCL Sunday against the New Orleans Saints.

Jackson has not practiced this week and is out for Thursday's game against the St. Louis Rams.

Based on the type of injury he suffered, it wouldn't be much of a surprise to see Jackson also sit out the final two games of the regular year. Though, we can't rule out a return to the team should it somehow earn a playoff spot.

Jackson, who has suffered through an injury-plagued campaign, has caught 33 passes for 543 yards and three touchdowns in 10 games. At 32 years old, there is no guarantee he will be back with the Buccaneers next season.

From a fantasy perspective, the loss of Jackson makes Mike Evans a solid DFS play. He's been the most-targeted receiver on the team — something that should take on a whole new meaning with Jackson potentially sidelined for the rest of the year.
