Buffalo Bills Sign Marcell Dareus to Massive Extension

Buffalo Bills defensive tackle Marcell Dareus is among the best young players at his position in the NFL. The former first-round pick recorded 10 sacks and 19 quarterback hits en route to First-Team All-Pro honorslast season. Dareus, 25, was also among the best run-stuffing defensive tackles in the NFL.

So it goes without saying that the Bills wanted to take care of him before he was slated to hit free agency following the 2015 season.

And that's exactly what they did.

The team has signed the talented interior lineman to a ridiculous six-year, $95.1 million extension with $60 million guaranteed and nearly $43 million guaranteed at the time of the signing. The average of $15.8 million makes Dareus the third highest-paid defensive tackle in the NFL behind Ndamukong Suh and Gerald McCoy. The $25 million signing bonus Dareus received will ALL be paid out by December.

Yeah, someone just came into some nice cash.
