Kansas City Chiefs starting running back Spencer Ware went down with what appeared to be a serious knee injury Friday against the Seattle Seahawks.
While there's no official confirmation on the results of the MRI Ware underwent on Saturday, ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that Ware could miss up to eight weeks with a PCL injury.
Ware, 25, gained nearly 1,400 total yards en route to finishing as the 16th-best fantasy running back last season. Chiefs head coach Andy Reid has already named rookie Kareem Hunt as the team's starter in Ware's stead.
Depending on the results of the MRI, Hunt could be a third or fourth-round value heading into late summer drafts. He also provides RB1 upside.
