For the second time within a few months the Dallas Cowboys have to deal with a situation involving another player driving under the influence of alcohol. However, this time no one was injured. Jay Ratliff was arrested in Grapevine, Texas early Tuesday morning after his truck struck a 18-wheeler.
According to Senior Officer Sam Shemwell, Ratliff was taken into custody after he refused a breathalyzer test. This coming off the heels of the incident that involved Josh Brent and practice squad player Jerry Brown Jr. What is not known at this time is why Ratliff did not use the driving service that is provided the NFL and Jerry Jones.
