Danny Amendola and Rob Gronkowski "Questionable" to play in Week 14

As fantasy owners in season-long leagues are gearing up for the fantasy football playoffs, they are spending the days and hours leading up to the draft checking injury reports on their star players. The New England Patriots have been a source of fantasy greatness this season, especially tight end Rob Gronkowski.

After missing practice and Week 13's game against the Philadelphia Eagles, Gronkowski (knee) returned to the practice field on a limited bases Thursday and Friday. Gronkowski has been slowly recovering and working his way back from a bone bruise in his knee, so it's a positive to see him practice the past two days and earn the "questionable" tag.

Of course, this is the Patriots' injury report and that can always make things more difficult to infer just what the probability is of a player actually playing on Sunday. Gronkowski said last week he wouldn't come back until he was 100 percent and New England should feel no rush to get him back out there given their security in the AFC East, but this offense could certainly use him.

As of now, fantasy owners should expect Gronkowski to be on more of the doubtful side of "questionable" and a game-time decision to play on Sunday, Night Football against the Houston Texans. Meanwhile, wide receiver Danny Amendola< who is also listed as questionable, is almost certain to play on Sunday.

In point per reception leagues, Edelman is a very nice WR2 with the upside to give you a 10/100 line. He has proven with Julian Edelman out to be a go-to for Tom Brady and facing a Texans' defense that is weak in the slot, it's an attractive matchup.
