On a day where the injuries have been racking up across the NFL, you can now add another prominent name to the list. Green Bay Packers running back Eddie Lacy was carted into the locker room, with what the team called an ankle injury.
Lacy's last play came in the first quarter on a toss, though it never appeared like he suffered an injury. Though on Sunday Night Football's replay in the second quarter, you could clearly see Lacy;s ank;e get twisted up and bent.
NBC reported Lacy was unable to put weight on his ankle, which is a major concern for a Packers' offense that lost Jordy Nelson. With Lacy in the locker room, James Starks becomes Green Bay's top running back. For tonight, Starks is the only other running back on the active roster.
If Lacy is out for an extended period of times, Starks is an immediate pickup in all fantasy leagues. It is important to note though that Green Bay will be without right tackle Bryan Bulaga for the next six-plus weeks.
