Emmanuel Sanders Remains Out with a Hamstring Injury

In terms of minor bumps and bruises, hamstring injuries are no laughing matter. They can impact a player over the course of an entire season if not handled correctly initially, limiting said players ability to make an impact on the football field.

This is one of the primary reasons that the Denver Broncos have held wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders out of practice for the past two weeks. It should also have those invested in Sanders' stock a bit concerned.

Sanders, who tallied 101 catches in his first season with the Broncos, called the injury a little more than a cramp. And the Broncos have gone on record indicating that they are being cautious with the team's No. 2 receiver.

With one year of experience catching passes from Peyton Manning, Sanders already has that built-in relationship. Though, he's not getting all-important first-team practice reps in the team's new offense under first-year head coach Gary Kubiak. Whether this will impact Sanders' production early on, no one really knows. Though, the hope is that Sanders will be able to return at some point in the near future.
