Dalton put up 366 yards on 23-of-30 passing against a good New York Jets defense in Week 1. He was dropped down the rankings a great deal after throwing just one touchdown. This led to Dalton finishing as the 14th-best fantasy quarterback on the week. We shouldn't read as much into the lack of touchdowns here. Those will come with A.J. Green and Giovani Bernard in the passing game. Instead, the focus really should be on his yards per attempt average of 12.2. That's an elite number right there.
