Fantasy Football: Biggest Injuries From NFL Week 6

Ben Roethlisberger, Quarterback, Pittsburgh Steelers

Big Ben suffered a torn meniscus in his knee in Sunday's loss to the Miami Dolphins. Initial concerns were that he'd need a full repair of the torn ligament. After undergoing surgery on Monday, Pittsburgh received good news. It was a minor clean up of the knee ligament, which means Roethlisberger could potentially return following the team's Week 8 bye. He is, however, out for next week's game against the New England Patriots. Landry Jones will start in Big Ben's stead.

Carlos Hyde, Running Back, San Francisco 49ers

Hyde suffered a shoulder injury in San Francisco's blowout loss to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. Though, he did miss just one series. If nothing else, it will be important to check out San Francisco's injury report through the week. If Hyde isn't limited, he remains a stellar option against a bad Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense in Week 7.

LeSean McCoy, Running Back, Buffalo Bills

McCoy looked to have suffered a serious knee injury on Sunday. He went down in a heap on a non-contact play, which normally isn't a good sign. Fortunately for the Bills and fantasy owners the world over, Shady returned to the game and absolutely dominated a horrendous 49ers run defense to the tune of three rushing touchdowns.

Odell Beckham Jr, Wide Receiver, New York Giants

OBJ exited in the first half of Sunday's win over the Baltimore Ravens. He appeared to suffer a hip injury, and was immediately seen running to the locker room. As with most of the other injuries we saw this past weekend, the Giants and Beckham Jr seemed to have luck out. He returned to the action shortly after exiting, putting up over 200 receiving yards and two scores in the best performance of his young career.

Eddie Royal, Wide Receiver, Chicago Bears

Royal entered Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars dealing with a calf problem. He exited the game with a separate toe injury and did not return. This enabled Cameron Meredith to put up 11 receptions in his stead. Royal was coming off a two-game stretch that saw him catch 14 passes for 154 yards and two scores. In fact he tallied four receptions for 54 yards on six targets before exiting. The extent of Royal's injury isn't known. But considering he wasn't able to return in a close game, it might not be good news.

Davante Adams, Wide Receiver, Green Bay Packers

Adams left Sunday's game with a concussion and obviously didn't return. He did not practice on Monday, and has to be considered out for Thursday's game against the Chicago Bears. There's no way Adams will pass through the concussion protocol on a short week. If not, Ty Montgomery will likely take over in three-wide sets. He caught 10-of-12 targets for 98 yards in Sunday's loss to the Dallas Cowboys.
