Fantasy Football: Biggest Injury Impacts in Week 13

We are now officially in crunch-time as fantasy football playoffs are right around the corner. Unfortunately, injuries are piling up as the season has progressed. Here at eDraft, we have all of the latest and accurate injury information. With that, let's get right into it.

Aaron Rodgers, Quarterback, Green Bay Packers (hamstring) - Rodgers originally injured his hamstring in week 12 but played through it after some medical attention. He was limited in practice all week and is labelled as "questionable" going into week 13. He is fully expected to suit up and play though.

Andrew Luck, Quarterback, Indianapolis Colts (concussion) - Luck was forced to miss week 12 due to his concussion but has practiced in full over the past two games and was left off the Colts final injury report. He is all systems go for Monday Night Football.

Tom Brady, Quarterback, New England Patriots (knee) - Brady has been dealing with his knee injury for a few weeks now and while he has been limited in practice, he will on the field on Sunday with little to no issues.

Jay Cutler, Quarterback, Chicago Bears (shoulder) - Cutler missed week 12 with a shoulder injury and it was announced he would undergo season-ending surgery on it this week. He is safe to be dropped from any remaining re-draft rosters.

Trevor Siemian, Quarterback, Denver Broncos (foot) - Siemian suffered a foot injury in week 12 and was unable to practice this week. Because of that, he will not play and Paxton Lynch will be the starting quarterback for Denver in week 13. Siemian is week-to-week right now.

Mark Ingram, Running Back, New Orleans Saints (toe) - Ingram missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday before returning on Friday due to a toe injury. He was noncommittal on his week 13 status. He appears to be a true 50-50 to play and likely will be a game-time decision. Be sure to check back in on Sunday for his official game status.

Lamar Miller, Running Back, Houston Texans (ankle/ribs) - Miller appeared to injure his ankle in week 12's game and was limited in practice this week with that and a ribs injury. At the end of the week, Miller was left off the team's final injury report and will suit up with no questions this weekend.

Latavius Murray, Running Back, Oakland Raiders (ankle) - Murray has been dealing with an ankle injury this week but has been able to practice on a limited basis. He is fully expected to suit up for week 13 and handle his normal work-load just fine.

Theo Riddick, Running Back, Detroit Lions (ankle) - It has been the same ol' song and dance for weeks now. Riddick continues to be "limited" in practice with his ankle issue but is never in any worry of missing that week's game. That is the case again this weekend as well.

Ryan Mathews, Running Back, Philadelphia Eagles (knee) - After hurting his knee in week 11, Mathews has been unable to return to practice. He did not practice again this week and was ruled out for week 13. Coach Doug Pederson said he is dealing with a "pretty significant" injury, so it's clear he is at best week-to-week for the time being with no timetable.

Chris Ivory, Running Back, Jacksonville Jaguars (hamstring) - Ivory originally hurt his hamstring in week 12 and has been unable to practice all week. He was ruled out on Friday for this week's game and will be week-to-week going forward.

T.Y. Hilton, Wide Receiver, Indianapolis Colts (back) - Hilton did not practice on Thursday but returned to full sessions on Friday and Saturday. He is listed as "questionable" but is fully expected to play on Monday. He should be good to go.

Brandon Marshall, Wide Receiver, New York Jets (knee/foot) - Despite not practicing on Thursday or Friday and his injury(ies) being called "a concern" by coach Todd Bowles, Marshall practiced fully on Friday and was taken off the final injury report. He is all good for Monday night, it seems.

Julian Edelman, Wide Receiver, New England Patriots (foot) - Edelman caused some concern earlier this week when he missed practice on Wednesday but it appears it was simply a maintenence day along with attending the birth of his child. He has been on the injury report all season but is in no danger of missing week 13.

Michael Crabtree, Wide Receiver, Oakland Raiders (ankle) - Crabtree was limited in every practice this week with his ankle injury but appears poised to play. He should be good to go for Sunday.

Jordan Matthews, Wide Receiver, Philadelphia Eagles (ankle) - Matthews is heading towards a true game-time decision after his whirlwind week. He did not practice on Wednesday, returned in limited fashion on Thursday before missing practice on Friday. Luckily, Matthews plays at 1PM EST on Sunday, so we should know more about him status around 11:30AM EST tomorrow. We'd have a back-up plan just in case.

A.J. Green, Wide Receiver, Cincinnati Bengals (hamstring) - Green has been trying to work his way back from a severe hamstring injury he suffered a couple weeks ago. He is listed as "out" for this game and doesn't appear to be close to returning. He may not play again this season at this rate.

Marvin Jones, Wide Receiver, Detroit Lions (thigh) - Jones has been dealing with this injury for some time and while he didn't appear to do much in practice this week according to beat writers, he is expected to play. He isn't 100%, but he should be on the field this weekend.

Sammy Watkins, Wide Receiver, Buffalo Bills (foot) - Watkins clearly is playing with fantasy football owners' hearts, as he missed practice on Wednesday before returning on Thursday. He was limited on Thursday and Friday, but coach Rex Ryan confirmed he will play. Offensive coordinator Anthony Lynn mentioned that he believed that Watkins was dealing with a broken bone in his foot, for whatever that's worth. Watkins will play but likely be limited again.

Tyrell Williams, Wide Receiver, San Diego Chargers (shoulder) - Williams did not practice on Wednesday or Thursday before returning on Friday. He confirmed that he will play as he appears to be playing through a torn labrum in his shoulder. While he may not be 100%, he appears set to keep playing.

DeVante Parker, Wide Receiver, Miami Dolphins (back) - Parker appears to be dealing with a tricky back injury as he missed practice time this week and is listed as "questionable". Coach Adam Gase sounds like he will make the final call on Parker's status for this weekend but does not sound optimistic. Parker is likely going to miss week 13.

Jeremy Maclin, Wide Receiver, Kansas City Chiefs (groin) - Maclin has been out the past three weeks due to a groin injury. He managed to return to practice in a limited fashion for a portion of this week but was again ruled out for week 13. Maclin does appear close to returning, but it won't be this weekend.

Tavon Austin, Wide Receiver, Los Angeles Rams (chest) - Austin did not practice all week due to his chest injury and has been listed as "doubtful" for week 13. He will not suit up and should be seen as week-to-week for the time being.

Allen Hurns, Wide Receiver, Jacksonville Jaguars (hamstring) - Hurns appeared to hurt him hamstring at some point in week 12. He was unable to practice at all this week and was ruled "out" for this weekend. He will be week-to-week for the time being.

John Brown, Wide Receiver, Arizona Cardinals (illness) - Brown has been dealing with issues related to his sickle-cell trait lately. He has been able to practice in limited fashion on Thursday and Friday. He looks like he will indeed play on Sunday.

Eddie Royal, Wide Receiver, Chicago Bears (toe) - Royal's long-standing toe injury continues to linger as he was unable to practice this entire week. He is "questionable" but seems unlikely to play. There is an outside chance he suits up, but he is expected to be inactive.

Chris Hogan, Wide Receiver, New England Patriots (back) - Hogan has been dealing with his back injury for a few weeks now but was able to suit up and play over 90% of the snaps in week 12. He should be all good for week 13.

Jordan Reed, Tight End, Washington Redskins (shoulder) - Reed suffered a significant shoulder injury in week 12 and was somehow able to play through it to finish the game. He doesn't have as much luck for this weekend as he did not practice this week and was ruled out for week 13. Consider him week-to-week at best for the time being.

Martellus Bennett, Tight End, New England Patriots (ankle) - Bennett appeared to re-injure his ankle in week 12 but was able to return and finish the game. He isn't anywhere close to 100% but he is fully expected to suit up and play this weekend, especially considering Rob Gronkowski is finished for the season.

Rob Gronkowski, Tight End, New England Patriots (back) - Speaking of Gronk, he was placed on injured reserve on Saturday after having to under-go his third back surgery dating back to his college days at Arizona. He is finished for the rest of the 2016 season and hopefully should be good to go come mini-camp in 2017. He is safe to drop from re-draft leagues.

Julius Thomas, Tight End, Jacksonville Jaguars (back) - Thomas missed week 12's game due to a back injury and did not practice at all this past week. He is listed as "doubtful" but he won't play for the second straight week. He will remain week-to-week for the time being.

Charles Clay, Tight End, Buffalo Bills (knee/personal) - Clay has been dealing with a knee injury for most of the season and is questionable to play. But, he did not travel with the team as he was with his wife for the birth of his child. There is an outside chance he re-joins the team in time for the game tomorrow but it seems unlikely.
