Fantasy Football: Biggest Injury Impacts in Week 17

We are in the last week of the NFL regular season and while most leagues are done for the season, there are some still going into their championship weekend. Not to mention this being a juicy week for DFS players as well. Here at eDraft, we will provide you with the most up-to-date injuries and updates about your players. Let's finish off the season right and get to injuries!

A.J. Green, Wide Receiver, Cincinnati Bengals (hamstring) - While some had hoped that Green could make a late-season return after suffering a major hamstring injury earlier in the season, those hopes are unfortunately dashed. Green did not practice at all this week and was ruled out for week 17.

Jeremy Hill, Running Back, Cincinnati Bengals (knee) - Hill played limited snaps last weekend while nursing a knee injury and did not practice until Friday of this week. He did get a limited session in and is listed as "questionable". He appears to be a true game-time decision this weekend, so check back in on Sunday for his official status.

Ben Roethlisberger, Quarterback, Pittsburgh Steelers (rest) - With the Steelers playoff bid secured and with them not being able to change their playoff seed no matter what this weekend, the Steelers confirmed they are resting Big Ben, LeVeon Bell and Antonio Brown. Make sure to keep them out of your line-ups.

LeVeon Bell, Running Back, Pittsburgh Steelers (rest) - See above.

Antonio Brown, Wide Receiver, Pittsburgh Steelers (rest) - See above.

Duke Johnson, Running Back, Cleveland Browns (ankle) - Johnson injured his ankle in week 16 and was limited in practice both on Thursday and Friday. Though he is listed as "questionable", all signs point to Johnson suiting up for season finale in search of win number two for his team.

Stefon Diggs, Wide Receiver, Minnesota Vikings (hip) - Diggs did not practice at all this week as he is dealing with a hip injury. He is listed as "doubtful" for this weekend, which all but guarantees he won't suit up in a "meaningless" season finale for him and the Vikings.

Adrian Peterson, Running Back, Minnesota Vikings (knee/groin) - Like his teammate Diggs, Peterson also did not practice at all this week. He has already been ruled out for week 17, which means he will have only played in one game since returning from injured reserve a weeks ago.

Randall Cobb, Wide Receiver, Green Bay Packers (ankle) - Cobb has fought an ankle injury for a few weeks now and it hindered him to the point that he did not practice at all this week. He is still listed as "questionable", however. In a pivotal match-up, Cobb could suit up but he appears to be headed for a game-time decision call. The best thing to do is wait and check back in on Sunday.

James Starks, Running Back, Green Bay Packers (concussion) - Starks suffered a concussion in an off-field incident and has yet to return to practice. He once again was absent all week and was ruled out for week 17.

Theo Riddick, Running Back, Detroit Lions (wrist) - Riddick has been dealing with this wrist injury for several weeks now that has kept him inactive on game-days. He went through another full week of no practices and was ruled out for this weekend's game. Even in a crucial match-up, Riddick isn't close to returning.

Lamar Miller, Running Back, Houston Texans (ankle) - Miller has been able to play through an ankle injury for quite a bit of time. But with the Texans clinching their division, there is no need to rush Miller back out there. He did not practice at all this week and is out for week 17.

Allen Hurns, Wide Receiver, Jacksonville Jaguars (hamstring) - Hurns has missed the past several games due to a hamstring injury that has kept him unable from even practicing. He did not practice at all this week and while he is listed as "questionable", he is all but certain to miss the season finale this weekend.

Chris Ivory, Running Back, Jacksonville Jaguars (hamstring) - Ivory has dealt with a myriad of injuries throughout the season. He is currently dealing with a hamstring injury but he was able to practice all week in limited fashion. Labelled as "questionable" for week 17, Ivory seems like he has a good shot of playing in the season finale and handle a near full workload.

Marqise Lee, Wide Receiver, Jacksonville Jaguars (hip flexor) - A breakout player this season, Lee is currently dealing with a hip flexor injury. He was able to practice all week in limited fashion and is listed as "questionable" for this weekend. Like his teammate Ivory, Lee seems likely to suit up and play in the season finale.

Taylor Gabriel, Wide Receiver, Atlanta Falcons (foot) - Gabriel bursted onto the scene a bit late in the season while Julio Jones was dealing with an injury. But unfortunately for Gabriel, he will not play this weekend as he has been ruled out with his foot injury.

Austin Hooper, Tight End, Atlanta Falcons (knee) - Like his teammate Gabriel, Hooper will also miss this weekend's game as he is dealing with a knee injury. The rookie hopes to be ready for the playoffs.

Charles Clay, Tight End, New York Jets (knee) - Clay has dealt with a knee injury for what seems like years. He was limited in practice on Thursday and Friday (like he is every week) and is "questionable" for this weekend. In other words, he will be playing.

Sammy Watkins, Wide Receiver, Buffalo Bills (foot) - Watkins continues to be on the team's injury report every week like Clay. He was limited in practice on Thursday and Friday and marked as "questionable" for week 17. So, like Clay, Watkins will be playing also.

Brandon Marshall, Wide Receiver, New York Jets (hip/shoulder) - Marshall has seemingly been injured in someway all season but continues to press onwards. Much is the case this week. Marshall did not practice on Wednesday or Thursday before having a limited session on Friday. Even with his "questionable" tag, Marshall should have no problems suiting up.

Robby Anderson, Wide Receiver, New York Jets (hamstring) - Anderson's fantasy value took a big hit when his quarterback Bryce Petty suffered a shoulder injury and required surgery. With Ryan Fitzpatrick back under center, Anderson will likely fade towards irrelevance in fantasy football again, But he also doesn't appear likely to play after being limited on Wednesday and missing Thursday and Friday. While "questionable", he seems unlikely to play.

Matt Forte, Running Back, New York Jets (knee) - Forte has been dealing with a torn meniscus in his knee for awhile now and did not practice at all this week. He was ruled out for week 17 and will not play in the season finale.

Tom Brady, Quarterback, New England Patriots (thigh) - Relax, Brady has dealt with this thigh injury for weeks. He is listed as "questionable" but there is no doubt he is playing this weekend.

Malcolm Mitchell, Wide Receiver, New England Patriots (knee) - After picking up his play in the second half of the season, Mitchell will unlikely see the field in week 17. He did not practice at all this week and is listed as "doubtful" for Sunday.

Martellus Bennett, Tight End, New England Patriots (ankle/shoulder) - Like his teammate Brady, Bennett has been dealing with a couple of injuries for a few weeks now and while he is "questionable" for Sunday, he is fully expected to play.

Jay Ajayi, Running Back, Miami Dolphins (shoulder) - Ajayi was limited in practice on Wednesday and Thursday before getting a full practice session in on Friday. While he is listed as "questionable" for week 17, he is fully expected to play and handle his full lead back work-load.

Jordan Matthews, Wide Receiver, Philadelphia Eagles (ankle) - While it seemed unlikely earlier in the week with two straight days of no practice, Matthews is on track to play this weekend. He got a full session of practice in on Friday and is listed as "questionable". Matthews seem likely to play.

Robert Kelley, Running Back, Washington Redskins (knee) - Kelley was limited in practice all week with a knee injury. He got three straight limited sessions of practice in and is listed as "questionable" for week 17. Everything points to Kelley suiting up in the season finale.

Jordan Reed, Tight End, Washington Redskins (shoulder) - Reed has been dealing with this shoulder injury for some time now. He has been able to play through it for the most part and appears likely to finish the season on the field. He got three straight limited practice sessions in and is listed as "questionable" for week 17.

Spencer Ware, Running Back, Kansas City Chiefs (rib) - Despite dealing with a rib injury, Ware has been able to practice all week in limited fashion for the season finale. He is listed as "questionable" and should be fine for week 17.

Amari Cooper, Wide Receiver, Oakland Raiders (shoulder) - Cooper continues to fight through an injury as his now playoff-bound team fights for the number one seed in the AFC this weekend. He was limtied all week in practice and is "questionable" but will suit up with no issues.

Michael Crabtree, Wide Receiver, Oakland Raiders (ankle) - Like Cooper, Crabtree has dealt with multiple injuries this season. Despite that, he was limited in practice all week and while he is "questionable" for week 17, he will play as well.

Melvin Gordon, Running Back, San Diego Chargers (hip, knee) - Gordon seemed likely to return in week 17 after missing the past two games. But he did not practice on Friday and was listed as out for this weekend unfortunately.

John Brown, Wide Receiver, Arizona Cardinals (illness) - A weekly occurance due to his sickle cell trait, Brown was limited in practice on Thursday and Friday. He is listed as "questionable" for this weekend but will suit up as usual in his limited role.

Kenny Britt, Wide Receiver, Los Angeles Rams (shoulder) - Britt aggrevated a previous shoulder injury he had and was unable to practice at all this week. He is listed as "doubtful" and appears all but certain to miss the week 17 finale.
