Fantasy Football: Biggest Injury Impacts in Week 9

We are officially more than halfway through the fantasy football regular season and injuries seem to creeping up all over the place. Let's get right into breaking down every injury for this weekend!

Ben Roethlisberger, Quarterback, Pittsburgh Steelers (knee) - After suffering a knee injury in week six that required surgery, Roethlisberger appears ready to return already. He was limited in practice all week and labelled as questionable, but all signs point to him returning this weekend.

Russell Wilson, Quarterback, Seattle Seahawks (knee, pectoral) - Wilson has been dealing with injuries for most of the season and while he has been able to practice in full for the most part, he struggles on the field. He isn't on the team's final injury report but be wary of the injuries he has.

Devontae Booker, Running Back, Denver Broncos (shoulder) - Booker suffered a shoulder injury last weekend that caused him to miss parts of last week's game. He was limited in practice to start the week but had a full practice on Friday and was kept off the final injury report. He'll be good to go this weekend.

Spencer Ware, Running Back, Kansas City Chiefs (concussion) - Ware suffered a concussion last weekend and was unable to return. He has yet to be cleared to play and has been announced out for week nine. He is week-to-week right now.

DeMarco Murray, Running Back, Tennessee Titans (toe) - Murray had been dealing with a toe injury earlier in the week but practiced fully on Thursday and Friday. He is not on the team's injury report and he'll be all systems go this weekend.

Theo Riddick, Running Back, Detroit Lions (ankle) - Riddick returned last week after missing time due to his ankle injury. He was limited in practice this week but there is no concern about him missing this weekend, he'll play.

LeSean McCoy, Running Back, Buffalo Bills (hamstring) - McCoy missed last weekend with a pesky hamstring injury and while he has practiced in a limited fashion this week, the team still has a Saturday practice. Coach Rex Ryan expects McCoy to play, but Saturday's practice will be important. Check back on Saturday afternoon.

Carlos Hyde, Running Back, San Francisco 49ers (shoulder) - Hyde was forced to sit out last weekend with a shoulder injury. He has been practicing all week in a limited capacity but does not appear as if he can take much contact yet. He is unlikely to play this weekend and should remain week-to-week.

Jerick McKinnon, Running Back, Minnesota Vikings (ankle) - After missing last weekend's game with an ankle injury, McKinnon himself said that he expects to play this weekend. He was able to practice on both Thursday and Friday and should be on the field Sunday.

Odell Beckham, Wide Receiver, New York Giants (hip) - Beckham had been bothered by a hip injury recently but was able to practice all week and stay off the team's injury report for week nine. He will be out there in full strength.

Amari Cooper, Wide Receiver, Oakland Raiders (back) - Cooper had been dealing with a back injury throughout the week but was able to practice on a limited basis all week and is labelled questionable. He is fully expected to play and have a normal workload.

Dez Bryant, Wide Receiver, Dallas Cowboys (knee, back) - Bryant returned last weekend after missing the previous four games with a knee injury. He is still be limited in practice as he continues to come back and is labelled as questionable. Despite that, he'll undoubtedly play this weekend.

Jeremy Maclin, Wide Receiver, Kansas City Chiefs (groin) - Maclin sat out of practice this week except for Friday with a groin injury. He returned in limited fashion on Friday and is questionable for this weekend. Despite that, he should play this weekend.

Terrelle Pyror, Wide Receiver, Cleveland Browns (hamstring) - Pryor had been dealing with a hamstring injury the past few weeks but is healed to the point where he had a full practice on Friday and is not on the team's injury report. He'll be all good to good.

Randall Cobb, Wide Receiver, Green Bay Packers (hamstring) - Cobb sat out last weekend with a hamstring injury and was limited in practice all week. He is listed as questionable to play but is a true game-time decision. He seems more likely to sit than play, but be sure to check back in on Sunday for the official word.

Ty Montgomery, Wide Receiver, Green Bay Packers (illness) - Montgomery surprisingly missed last weekend with a mysterious illness. Since then, he has been able to practice and he was taken off the Packers injury report. He'll be set to return this weekend.

Travis Benjamin, Wide Receiver, San Diego Chargers (knee) - Despite missing practice on Wednesday and Thursday, Benjamin was a full participant on Friday and is listed as questionable for the game. Despite that, it is reported that he will indeed suit up with no issues. He'll be fine.

Tyrell Williams, Wide Receiver, San Diego Chargers (knee) - Like Benjamin, Williams missed practice on both Wednesday and Thursday before being a full particpant on Friday. He too is labelled as questionable for the game but it has been reported that he'll play. He'll be active.

Steve Smith, Wide Receiver, Baltimore Ravens (ankle) - Smith has missed the past two games with an ankle injury but was able to fully practice on Friday after being limited on Thursday. Despite the questionable tag, Smith seems likely to return this weekend for the Ravens.Woo

Corey Coleman, Wide Receiver, Cleveland Browns (hand) - Coleman has been out for a good majority of the season with a broken hand but appears ready to return after he was even removed from the team's injury report for this weekend. He should step right in and be fine.

DeVante Parker, Wide Receiver, Miami Dolphins (hamstring) - Despite being labelled as questionable for the game this weekend with a hamstring injury, Parker practiced all week and is all set to play this weekend. His status was never in doubt.

Robert Woods, Wide Receiver, Buffalo Bills (foot) - Woods has been dealing with a foot injury for weeks now but was limited in practice all week. As with the past couple of weeks, Roberts will be fine come Sunday and will suit up.

Delanie Walker, Tight End, Tennessee Titans (groin) - Walker revealed that he had further injured his groin earlier this week and did not practice on Friday. He is labelled as questionable and all signs point to this being a strict game-time decision. Be sure to check back in Sunday.

Jimmy Graham, Tight End, Seattle Seahawks (knee) - Graham had practiced all week before being downgraded to limited on Friday. It is a concern, but he is labelled as questionable but should end up playing. Play him as you normally would.

Charles Clay, Tight End, Buffalo Bills (knee) - Clay has dealt with a knee injury for most of the season. Despite being limited in practice and being labelled as questionable, he will be on the field this weekend.

Dwayne Allen, Tight End, Indianapolis Colts (ankle) - After missing the previous two games with an ankle injury, Allen practiced all week including a full practice on Friday. The team admitted he is less than 100% and could be used as more of a blocker to start off than a receiver. Be wary of him this weekend.

Hunter Henry, Tight End, San Diego Chargers (knee) - Henry suffered a knee injury last weekend but was able to play through it. This week, however, Henry has not practiced at all this week and has been ruled out for week nine. He is week-to-week.
