Fantasy Football: Biggest Injury Impacts in Week Seven

Week seven is now here, which means even more injuries are upon us in fantasy football. Let's get to every injury for this weekend!

Ben Roethlisberger, Quarterback, Pittsburgh Steelers (knee): Roethlisberger suffered a knee injury last weekend that was revealed to be a torn meniscus, which required surgery. He is out for week seven and his timeline could be anywhere from two to six weeks according to reports. Keep him on benches but don't drop him unless the roster spot is desperately needed.

Carson Palmer, Quarterback, Arizona Cardinals (hamstring): Palmer was held out of practice on Wednesday followed by getting in limited sessions on Thursday and Friday. Palmer appears poised to play on Sunday, albeit less than 100%.

Joe Flacco, Quarterback, Baltimore Ravens (shoulder): Flacco popped up on the injury report this week with a shoulder injury. He missed Wednesday's practice but returned to full sessions on Thursday and Friday. He is in no danger of missing week seven.

LeSean McCoy, Running Back, Buffalo Bills (hamstring): McCoy is dealing with a hamstring issue that has limited him severely in practice and is clearly limiting him overall. Based on multiple reports, he is a true game-time decision but it seems as if right now, the Bills likely hold out McCoy this weekend. Check back in Sunday morning for the inactive report though.

Carlos Hyde, Running Back, San Francisco 49ers (shoulder): Hyde is dealing with a shoulder injury that has caused him to wear a sling for it. He has been ruled out for week seven but did shed the sling late this week. He should be fine for week nine when the 49ers return from bye, however.

Jamaal Charles, Running Back, Kansas City Chiefs (knee): Charles appeared back on the Chiefs injury report on Friday after getting a limited session in. He is dealing with soreness in his knee and is questionable for Sunday. It does not look good for Charles and his chances of playing in week seven. He is more likely to be "doubtful" than "probable".

LeGarrette Blount, Running Back, New England Patriots (hip): Blount had been on the injury report with a hip ailment the past few weeks. Despite that, he has not missed any games. He was removed from the Patriots injury report this week and will be 100% for the Steelers on Sunday.

Doug Martin, Running Back, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (hamstring): Martin appeared poised at the beginning of the week to return in week seven but coach Dirk Koetter revealed this week that Martin suffered a setback. With that, he has been ruled out for week seven and is back to being week-to-week. Keep him on benches again for the time being.

Latavius Murray, Running Back, Oakland Raiders (toe): Murray has missed the last two games with his turf toe injury. He is listed as questionable for this weekend and appears ready to return after practicing all week. He should be out there for week seven.

Theo Riddick, Running Back, Detroit Lions (ankle): Riddick did not practice all week with his ankle injury after missing week six as well. He has been ruled out for week seven and remains week-to-week for the time being.

Eddie Lacy, Running Back, Green Bay Packers (ankle): Lacy was placed on injured reserve this week after it was determined that his ankle injury needed surgery. Lacy could possibly return later this season,  but it's not a guarantee by any means. He can be dropped in re-draft leagues with normal bench depth.

Arian Foster, Running Back, Miami Dolphins (hamstring): Despite being labelled as questionable for week seven, Foster practiced all week and is in no danger of missing this weekend. He'll be suited up on Sunday.

DeAngelo Williams, Running Back, Pittsburgh Steelers (knee): Williams sat out of practice all week with this knee injury. He is ruled out for week seven and is without a timeline for return. Consider him week-to-week for the time-being.

Dwayne Washington, Running Back, Detroit Lions (ankle): After missing the past two games with a foot/ankle injury, Washington appears poised to return after practicing all week. He is listed as questionable, but he is fully expected to return especially with Theo Riddick being out.

TY Hilton, Wide Receiver, Indianapolis Colts (hip): Hilton has been dealing with his hip injury for multiple weeks now. And while he did miss Thursday's practice, he returned on Friday and is in no danger of missing this weekend.

Odell Beckham Jr, Wide Receiver, New York Giants (hip): While he did miss practice on Wednesday, Beckham practiced on Thursday and Friday and is in no danger of missing week seven in London.

Julian Edelman, Wide Receiver, New England Patriots (foot): While Edelman is listed as questionable for the game yet again, he practiced all week and is in no danger of missing this weekend. He will suit up.

Travis Benjamin, Wide Receiver, San Diego Chargers (knee): Benjamin missed practice on Wednesday but returned to practice on both Thursday and Friday. He is listed as questionable but all signs point to him playing in week seven.

Stefon Diggs, Wide Receiver, Minnesota Vikings (groin): Diggs missed week five with this groin injury but had the bye week to help recover. He is listed as questionable but will play, especially after practicing fully on Friday.

Terrelle Pryor, Wide Receiver, Cleveland Browns (hamstring): Pryor did not practice at all this week as he is dealing with a hamstring injury. He appears to be a game-time decision as he is labelled questionable for the game. He has a "chance to play" according to coach Hue Jackson. Pryor is 50-50 right now to play. Owners should check back in on Sunday.

DeSean Jackson, Wide Receiver, Washington Redskins (shoulder): While Jackson did miss Wednesday and Thursday's practice sessions, he returned on Friday and will play this weekend despite the questionable tag.

Will Fuller, Wide Receiver, Houston Texans (hamstring): While Fuller was active in week six, he did not play one snap. Fuller is confirmed to play this weekend by coach Bill O'Brien and should definitely see work on the field in week seven.

John Brown, Wide Receiver, Arizona Cardinals (hamstring): Brown is listed as doubtful for this weekend and won't play after it was discovered his leg issue stems from having the sickle-cell trait. Obviously a scary situation, it's possible Brown misses multiple games with this revelation. Consider him week-to-week for the time being.

Steve Smith, Wide Receiver, Baltimore Ravens (ankle): Smith missed week six with a high-ankle sprain and has yet to resume practicing. He is listed as doubtful for week seven and will not play. With their bye week coming, Smith will have time to recover before their game in week nine.

Phillip Dorsett, Wide Receiver, Indianapolis Colts (foot/hamstring): Dorsett suffered his injuries during week six's game and did not practice all week because of them. He has been ruled out for week seven and is likely week-to-week right now.

Torrey Smith, Wide Receiver, San Francisco 49ers (back): Smith was added to the team's injury report this week with a back issue but was limited in practice on Thursday and Friday. With that, he is expected to play this weekend.

Robert Woods, Wide Receiver, Buffalo Bills (foot): Woods hurt his foot in week six's game but was able to finish out the game. Unfortunately, he is listed as doubtful for this weekend and will not play in week seven. Consider him week-to-week as he didn't practice at all this weekend.

Josh Doctson, Wide Receiver, Washington Redskins (achilles): Doctson has dealt with his troublesome Achillies injury for the entirety of the season. The Redskins placed him on injured reserve this week and it's likely we don't see him again this season. He can be dropped in re-draft.

Rob Gronkowski, Tight End, New England Patriots (hamstring): After being listed on the injury report every week this season, Gronkowski was removed from it earlier this week. While his play didn't show any ill effects of an injury last weekend, it is a great sign to see him cleared 100%.

Jordan Reed, Tight End, Washington Redskins (concussion): Reed missed week six's game with his concussion issue. He did practice on a limited basis on Wednesday before sitting out on Thursday and Friday, so there could be some concern of a setback. He has been ruled out for this weekend as he works his way back from another concussion.

Martellus Bennett, Tight End, New England Patriots (ankle): Bennett originally hurt his ankle a couple of weeks ago and has been on the team's injury report since. He practiced all week and is in no danger of missing this weekend's game.

Julius Thomas, Tight End, Jacksonville Jaguars (ankle): After practicing in full on Wednesday, Thomas was limited on both Thursday and Friday. It is not a good sign for Thomas, but he is still expected to play this weekend regardless.

Tyler Eifert, Tight End, Cincinnati Bengals (back/ankle): Eifert has yet to play this season following ankle surgery and now an on-going back issue. He was limited in practice this week and has a shot at playing this weekend. He may be a game-time decision though, so check back in on Sunday.

Dwayne Allen, Tight End, Indianapolis Colts (ankle): Allen hurt his ankle during week six's game and did not return. He did not practice all week and has been ruled out for week seven. Consider him week-to-week right now.

Eric Ebron, Tight End, Detroit Lions (ankle/knee): Ebron will miss his third straight game this season this weekend as he continues to work his way back from an ankle/knee injury. He has been ruled out and is still week-to-week for the time being.

Charles Clay, Tight End, Buffalo Bills (knee): Clay has dealt with a knee injury the past few weeks but has not missed any game action. While he was limited in practice this week and the questionable tag, Clay will play this weekend.
