Week six is now here, which means even more injuries are upon us in fantasy football. Let's get to every injury for this weekend!
Cam Newton, Quarterback, Carolina Panthers (concussion): After missing last week's game, Newton is officially questionable for week six. While he remains in the concussion protocol, he is expected to be cleared "barring a setback". Fantasy owners should be confident in starting him this weekend.
Carson Palmer, Quarterback, Arizona Cardinals (concussion): After missing week five with his concussion, Palmer has practiced fully on both Thursday and Friday and will return in week six on Monday Night Football.
Mark Ingram, Running Back, New Orleans Saints (illness): Ingram missed practice on Thursday due to an illness but returned on Friday and is not on the team's injury report for week six. Have no fear fantasy owners, he is playing.
Theo Riddick, Running Back, Detroit Lions (ankle): Riddick sat out the entire week with an ankle injury and was ruled out for week six. He is week-to-week right now and should be kept on benches for the time being.
Eddie Lacy, Running Back, Green Bay Packers (ankle): Lacy injured his ankle in week five and was limited in practice all week because of it. Lacy will be a game-time decision but he is likely going to suit up. Keep him in fantasy lineups for the time being.
Jonathan Stewart, Running Back, Carolina Panthers (hamstring): After missing the past three games with a hamstring injury, head coach Ron Rivera feels good about him playing on Sunday. He practiced all week and looks poised to be back finally. He can be reinserted in fantasy lineups.
Latavius Murray, Running Back, Oakland Raiders (toe): After missing week five's game, Murray has yet to return to practice as he deals with a turf toe injury. He has been ruled out for week six and is still week-to-week for the time being.
Arian Foster, Running Back, Miami Dolphins (hamstring): Foster has missed a large chunk of the season due to a troublesome hamstring injury. He was able to practice all week in a limited capacity and looks poised to return this weekend. He can be reinserted into fantasy lineups.
Rashad Jennings, Running Back, New York Giants (thumb): Jennings has sat out the previous few games with his thumb injury. He practiced all week in a limited capacity and will likely be a game-time decision this weekend. With that being said, he appears ready to return. He should be back this weekend.
Jeremy Hill, Running Back, Cincinnati Bengals (chest): Despite dealing with a chest/shoulder injury, Hill practiced all week and is not on the team's injury report. He will play in week six.
LeGarrette Blount, Running Back, New England Patriots (hip): Despite being limited in practice all week and being labelled as questionable again, Blount is in no danger of missing week six and will be active.
Dwayne Washington, Running Back, Detroit Lions (foot, ankle): Washington had missed week five with his foot and ankle injuries, but he is questionable for week six. He did not practice on Wednesday or Thursday but returned in a limited fashion on Friday. Washington has a shot at playing but he looks to be a true game-time decision right now. Check back in on Sunday to see if he will be active or not. As of right now, he does appear more likely than not to return on Sunday.
James Starks, Running Back, Green Bay Packers (knee): Starks missed practice all week due to his knee injury and a personal reason. He is labelled as questionable but may be more of the "doubtful" side of questionable. He'll be a game-time decision but it appears as though Starks may sit out in week six.
T.Y. Hilton, Wide Receiver, Indianapolis Colts (hip): Despite not practicing on Wednesday, Hlton returned to practice on a limited basis on Thursday before completing a full practice on Friday. He is questionable but will play in week six with little to no issues.
Kelvin Benjamin, Wide Receiver, Carolina Panthers (knee): Benjamin is questionable for week six with a knee injury but he practiced all week and is in no danger of missing week six. He will be active.
Alshon Jeffery, Wide Receiver, Chicago Bears (hamstring): Jeffery continues to be limited in practice due to his usual myriad of injuries. He is listed as questionable for week six but nothing suggests he will miss week six. He should be good to go.
Julian Edelman, Wide Receiver, New England Patriots (foot): Like Blount, Edelman is once again being labelled as questionable after practicing all week but will indeed be active for week six. Have no fear fantasy owners.
Will Fuller, Wide Receiver, Houston Texans (hamstring): Despite being limited in practice all week and being labelled as questionable for week six, Fuller will be active again this weekend and continue to terrorize opposing teams.
Eddie Royal, Wide Receiver, Chicago Bears (calf): Royal is listed as questionable for week six despite missing practice on Friday. He did suit up in week five without practicing at all, so he could be heading that way again but looks to be a game-time decision. Check back in on Sunday for the final report.
Randall Cobb, Wide Receiver, Green Bay Packers (neck): Cobb was limited in practice on Wednesday and Thursday before returning to a full practice on Friday. He is not on the team's final injury report and will play this weekend with no issues.
Dez Bryant, Wide Receiver, Dallas Cowboys (knee): Bryant practiced all week in a limited fashion and is listed as questionable for week six. He is likely a game-time decision but he has a solid chance of returning. Check back in for the inactive reports on Sunday for the final word.
Mike Wallace, Wide Receiver, Baltimore Ravens (chest): Wallace was limited in practice this week with a chest injury sustained in week five. Despite that and the questionable tag, Wallace should be active for week six.
Anquan Boldin, Wide Receiver, Detroit Lions (ankle): Boldin sat out practice on Wednesday before returning in a limited fashion on Thursday and then practicing fully on Friday. He doesn't appear to be in any danger of missing week six despite his questionable tag. He will be active.
Steve Smith, Wide Receiver, Baltimore Ravens (ankle): Smith is continuing to fight an ankle injury and is listed as doubtful for Sunday. He will not play and should be considered week-to-week.
Sammie Coates, Wide Receiver, Pittsburgh Steelers (finger): Coates suffered a hand/finger injury during week five and required stitches. Despite that and being labelled as questionable for this weekend, Coates appears to be fine for week six. Check back in on Sunday but he should be active.
Jordan Reed, Tight End, Washington Redskins (concussion): Reed suffered a concussion during week five and is questionable for this weekend's week six game. He hasn't been cleared yet to play and appears to be a true game-time decision. Because of his history with concussions, it doesn't seem likely that Reed will play. But be sure to check back in on Sunday for the final word.
Rob Gronkowski, Tight End, New England Patriots (hamstring, illness): Gronkowski is still dealing with his bothersome hamstring injury but also missed practice with an illness. He is questionable and as of right now, nothing suggests that he will be inactive for week six. Check back in Sunday morning but he should be fine.
Martellus Bennett, Tight End, New England Patriots (ankle): Bennett injured his ankle in week five but returned to the game and was limited in practice all week. Despite that and the questionable tag, Bennett will be active for week six.
Zach Miller, Tight End, Chicago Bears (ribs): Despite being labelled as questionable, Miller has played through his ribs injury for weeks now and will be suited up for week six. He'll be fine.
Jason Witten, Tight End, Dallas Cowboys (chest):Though Witten is labelled as questionable for week six, he practiced all week in a full capacity and will play in week six. He will be fine.
Tyler Eifert, Tight End, Cincinnati Bengals (ankle, back): Eifert did not practice again this week as he continues to recover from his ankle and back injuries. He continues to be week-to-week for the time being and should not be in any lineups.
Eric Ebron, Tight End, Detroit Lions (knee, ankle): Ebron continues to be missing from practice due to his knee and ankle injuries and has been ruled out for week six. He is still week-to-week but fantasy owners should be prepared to be without him for another week possibly.
Charles Clay, Tight End, Buffalo Bills (knee): Despite his questionable tag, Clay has dealt with a minor knee issue for a few weeks and will be fine yet again to play. He'll be out there this weekend.
Gary Barnidge, Tight End, Cleveland Browns (forearm, hip): Barnidge continues to nurse injuries to his forearm and hip as he was limited in practice all week. Despite that, Barnidge should be active on Sunday and play.
Clive Walford, Tight End, Oakland Raiders (knee): Walford missed last week's game with a knee injury and practiced all week in a limited capacity. He appears to be a game-time decision as he is questionable but he will likely suit up. He should be good to go.
Jordan Cameron, Tight End, Miami Dolphins (concussion): Cameron has yet to return to practice while still dealing with his latest concussion. He will continue to be out indefinitely considering his previous concussion issues.
Vance McDonald, Tight End, San Francisco 49ers (hip): After missing the past two games with a hip injury, McDonald is not on the 49ers injury report for week six. He will return and be active for that game.
Austin Seferian-Jenkins, Tight End, New York Jets (ankle): ASJ has been limited in practice for the past two days with his ankle injury. He and the Jets have another practice on Saturday, but assuming he practices again, he should be out there on Monday night.
