Fantasy Football: NFL Waiver Wire Adds, Week 11

Tony Romo, Quarterback, Dallas Cowboys

This one really is a no-brainer. Owned in less than 50 percent of Yahoo! leagues heading into Week 10, Romo himself becomes a solid QB1 option when he does return to the field. The expectation in Dallas is that Romo will return next week against the Miami Dolphins. Romo hasn't played since suffering a collarbone injury against the New York Giants in Week 2.

Romo has found himself as a top-12 fantasy quarterback in each of the four seasons prior to this year. With Dez Bryant, Jason Witten and Darren McFadden in the fold in Dallas, he should live up to those expectations when he returns to the field.

Mark Sanchez, Quarterback, Philadelphia Eagles

Now that we know Sam Bradford suffered a sprained AC joint in his non-throwing shoulder and a concussion against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, Sanchez will be the next man up in Philadelphia.

NFL Media's Ian Rapoport is reporting that Bradford will miss next week's game and possibly the Eagles Week 12 outing against the Detroit Lions.

If that's the case, Sanchez becomes a streaming waiver-wire option over the next two weeks. Depending on how your QB1 is performing, his matchups against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and aforementioned Lions over the next two weeks are solid.

And let's be honest for a second here. Any quarterback in Chip Kelly's fast-paced offense stands a decent chance of being fantasy relevant.

Matt Jones, Running Back, Washington Redskins

After dealing with injuries and a lack of consistency following a stellar early-season performance, Jones jumped out big time on Sunday against a bad New Orleans Saints defense. He put up 56 yards on 11 rushes while adding a whopping 131 yards on three receptions, including a 78-yard touchdown pass from Kirk Cousins

The only real issue here is that Jones will continue to be handcuffed by Alfred Morris, who put up 15 attempts for 104 yards on Sunday. We also have no real idea whether Washington's offensive explosion this week was more a product of the Saints horrendous defense or progression from the Skins offense.

Shaun Draughn, Running Back, San Francisco 49ers

If you are in a bad situation at running back or exist in a deeper league, Draughn becomes a decent option. Signed off the street prior to San Francisco's Week 9 outing against the Atlanta Falcons, Draughn put up 96 total yards on 20 touches in his 49ers debut.

San Francisco also signed Pierre Thomas prior to that game, but he was released. Even after signing Travaris Cadet this past week, it's readily apparent that Draughn will be the team's primary ball carrier moving forward.

Both Mike Davis and Reggie Bush are on injured reserve. Meanwhile, Carlos Hyde is dealing with a foot injury and might not play again this year.

With Blaine Gabbert under center, San Francisco will continue to rely on the running game. This likely means 20-plus touches for Draughn on a consistent basis. In this, opportunity equals success.

Danny Amendola, Wide Receiver, New England Patriots

With Julian Edelman out for the foreseeable future after suffering a broken bone in his foot on Sunday, Amendola immediately becomes a WR3/FLEX option in standard leagues. He caught 10 of the 11 passes thrown in his direction after Edelman went down on Sunday.

As you likely already know, any receiving threat that has the trust of Tom Brady is definitely fantasy relevant. Considering we have seen success between these two in the past, that's only magnified further.

Dorial Green-Beckham, Wide Receiver, Tennessee Titans

With Justin Hunter out for the season after suffering a broken ankle on Sunday and Kendall Wright likely out for Week 11 after missing Sunday's game with a knee injury, Green-Beckham will be thrown into the fire moving forward this season.

And while the rookie struggled to do much Sunday against the Carolina Panthers (zero receptions, two targets), he is one week removed from putting up five catches for 77 yards against the New Orleans Saints.

Here's a deep bench option you might want to add while checking out how he performs as a potential focal point of the Titans' passing game moving forward. I definitely wouldn't throw him out there as a starter without some real sample size.

Crockett Gillmore, Tight End, Baltimore Ravens

Somewhat forgotten in the fantasy community after the emergence of Maxx Williams, Gillmore "broke out" to the tune of four receptions for 42 yards and a score against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.

With the injury issues the Ravens are suffering at wide receiver, there's no reason to believe both Gillmore and Williams can't make a fantasy impact moving forward this season. That's only magnified by the lack of any real consistency we have seen at the tight end position throughout the NFL this year.
