Fantasy Football Sleeper: De'Angelo Henderson

Outside of Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders at wide receiver, the Denver Broncos' offense appears to be nothing more than a fantasy black hole.

With Trevor Siemian and Paxton Lynch struggling under center and a cloudy running back situation, this unit could very well be a must avoid.

That's only magnified with C.J. Anderson, Devontae Booker and Jamaal Charles all vying for an every-down role on offense.

However, we should not sleep on rookie sixth-round pick De'Angelo Henderson, who impressed big time in Denver's preseason opener against the Chicago Bears.

The Coastal Carolina product put up 54 yards on seven attempts, including a game-winning 41-yard touchdown run in the final stanza.

Sure Henderson was going up against Chicago's backups, but he's most definitely someone to keep an eye on as the preseason continues. There's surely a vacuum that needs to be filled at running back in Denver, and Henderson legitimately ran with it this past week.

At the very least, keep an eye on how the Broncos utilize Henderson moving forward in the preseason. He could be a solid add in deeper leagues or a potential waiver-wire add in standard 12-team leagues early in the regular season.
