Fantasy Football Week 11: Start These 10 Running Backs

Week 11 brings a lot of great NFL matchups with big name players. Even with Marshawn Lynch, Adrian Peterson, and Ahmad Bradshaw out during Bye weeks, a lot of points will be scored. Besides, when was the last time CJ Spiller made a Top 10 list?

Let's take a look at what these running backs bring to the table this week:

1. Arian Foster, Houston Texans
Surprise surprise Foster is at No. 1. If everything is big in Texas, Foster is going to be huge against Jacksonville. Expect Houston to build a massive lead early in the game. With the lowest amount of points Foster has scored being 14 this season, this could be one of the biggest games of the year for Foster. If you have Foster as your running back, and you lose this week, you suck at fantasy football. He’ll get you 26 points.

2. Doug Martin, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
If there is one thing Carolina is good at, it’s giving up points. If Martin can put up 51 versus Oakland, its definitely possible he will match Arian Foster’s numbers this week against the Panthers. Expect a huge day for Martin.

3. Steven Jackson, St. Louis Rams
All the Jets defense will see Sunday is the back of Jackson’s dreadlocked head.  Steven Jackson put up 18 points against San Francisco last week.  He will run for 120 yards and a touchdown.  He’ll catch some passes too and get you 19 points for your team this week.

4. Ray Rice, Baltimore Ravens
Remember on your fantasy football draft night when that first or second person snagged Ray Rice before you could even say “running back?”  You probably felt like your season would be a battle.  However, Rice has not been racking up the fantasy points like expected for a running back of his magnitude.  With Rice totaling 657 rushing yards and 284 receiving yards it is safe to say you can all breathe a little easier knowing you are facing him this week.  Facing the Steelers this week is going to be a struggle for Rice.  17 points.

5. LeSean McCoy, Philadelphia Eagles
McCoy will get you points rushing and receiving against Washington. Expect 140 all purpose yards.  This is the week that the Eagles find out all they have to do to win football games is give the ball to McCoy.  He is the most dynamic player on the field in almost every game that he plays.  They have to give him the ball more.  17 points for McCoy.

6. CJ Spiller, Buffalo Bills
With Fred Jackson out with a concussion, CJ Spiller is going to get plenty of carries versus Miami.  He is averaging 7.3 yards per carry, and he is going to get a lot of action and do a lot of work Sunday.  He will get you 16 points this week.

7. Jamaal Charles, Kansas City Chiefs
Jamaal Charles has had a rollercoaster of a season.  His fantasy points ranged from zero to 34.  This week he faces the ordinary Bengals defense.  Cincinnati has not been getting pressure, only having seven sacks in their last four games.  Expect Charles to tear them apart. 15 points from him.

8. Trent Richardson, Cleveland Browns
Expect Richardson to be healthy coming off of a Bye week in the Big D.  Cleveland Browns have zero weapons besides Richardson.  He combined for 32 points in the last two weeks before the Bye.  Richardson will get 13 points for you this week.

9. Matt Forte, Chicago Bears
Matt Forte may have gotten stuffed by the Texans (I’m allowed to say this close to Turkey Day without it sounding inappropriate) but don’t expect a repeat versus San Francisco.  Jamaal Charles rushed for over 100 yards against the 49ers this week.  Expect this game to be grinded out on the ground and Forte to put up around 13 fantasy points.

10. Reggie Bush, Miami Dolphins
If Reggie Bush can score with a Kardashian (the pretty one nonetheless) he should have no problem scoring on the Bills. Daniel Thomas has been taking Bush’s points all season, but Miami running backs will put up enough points to make both owners happy versus Buffalo. 12 points.

Honorable Mention: Alfred Morris 11 points vs Eagles
Honorable Mention: Shonn Greene 11 points vs Rams
