Impact Fantasy Football Injuries From Week 10

Carson Palmer, Quarterback, Arizona Cardinals

If reports are correct, Palmer will be out for the remainder of the season with a torn ACL. He suffered the injury in the second half of Arizona's win over the St. Louis Rams on Sunday. Initial indications are that he did in fact suffer a torn ACL, which would be a tremendous blow for both the veteran quarterback and his 8-1 Cardinals. The team will conduct an MRI on Monday to confirm the seriousness of the injury.

But for all intents and purposes, Drew Stanton will now take over for Palmer for the final seven games of the season. And while it sucks to focus on fantasy football after a potentially devastating injury, that's what this site is all about. Reality is, Stanton is not a viable fantasy option. This will put you behind the proverbial eight-ball heading into the stretch run. Mark Sanchez and Ryan Tannehill become decent lower-end waiver-wire pickups here.

Ronnie Hillman, Running Back, Denver Broncos

Hillman suffered through a foot injury early in Denver's win against the Oakland Raiders. He was replaced by C.J. Anderson, who tore it up, in the lineup. Showing precaution with the game in hand, the Broncos decided to rest Hillman the rest of the way. It's not a serious injury, but Hillman's fantasy value just isn't there right now. In addition to Anderson performing well, Montee Ball is close to returning.

Sammy Watkins, Wide Receiver, Buffalo Bills

Watkins played a limited role on Sunday with a hamstring injury, catching just four passes for 27 yards. He was nowhere near 100 percent throughout the game. Unfortunately for those of you relying on Watkins, Buffalo plays again on Thursday, so we shouldn't expect too much from him on a short week.

Brandon Marshall, Wide Receiver, Chicago Bears

Marshall suffered an injury left ankle against the Packers on Sunday, which should be some cause for alarm moving forward. He was limping out on the field before finally being taken out with the Bears losing by about 40 points. This is something to definitely keep an eye on as the week progresses.

Delanie Walker, Tight End, Tennessee Titans

Walker has been a fantasy dynamo this season, but his future is somewhat unclear after he suffered a somewhat serious head injury. Walker left the game with concussion and obviously didn't return. By the looks of it, there doesn't seem to be any way that he will be ready to go next week. Next man up right here.
